As Muslims across the world celebrate this sacred and joyous Eid, I, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi (BASA), extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all my Muslim brothers and sisters here in Nigeria and across the globe.
Today is not just a celebration—it is a moment of deep reflection and gratitude. I give all thanks to Almighty Allah (SWT) for His endless mercy, for preserving our lives, for blessing us with faith, and for allowing us to witness this significant day in good health and peace. Eid reminds us of the beauty of devotion, the reward of sacrifice, and the boundless love of our Creator.
As we gather with loved ones, share meals, and offer prayers, may we also renew our commitment to the values of Islam—compassion, generosity, humility, and unity. Let us carry the spirit of Sallah into our communities by showing kindness to one another, especially to the less privileged.
