Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi–Aliyu, popularly known as BASA, has been honoured with an Islamic Merit Award by Jamuhiya Qumarul Faidat Fitorikat (Tijaniyat Wa Ibraheemiyat) in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the growth of Islam and her selfless service to humanity.

The award acknowledges BASA’s consistent commitment to humanitarian service, community development, and the promotion of moral and religious values across society.
She was represented at the award ceremony by Hon. Osuolale Babatunde, the Coordinator of the BASA Movement in Ona-Ara Local Government, who received the award on her behalf.

The honour further reinforces BASA’s reputation as a respected grassroots leader and philanthropist whose impact cuts across religious, social, and political divides.
