FG Partners EU, UNDP on $220 Million Youth Employment and Skills Programme

The programme will be with a joint European Union (EUinNigeria) and UNDPNigeria’s International Accountant (UNDPNigerian), in the second phase of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP 2.0) whose mission is to connect young people with professional skills, training and leadership.
Deputy President, Senator Kashim Shettima said this on Wednesday during the launch of NJFP 2.0 programme at the Presidential Palace, Abuja, where he said the mission of the program is to “fill a gap between education and employment to thousands of Nigerian youths who are educated, but not. They are so many of them in real life.
Accordingly, this programme will help transform the nation’s population into economic strength, ensuring that if government develops plan, co-operation and development goals, Nigerian youths will rise to benefit from the opportunity.

The Deputy President added that although NJFP is a programme for Nigeria based on national needs and policies, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government intends to strengthen the ownership of the program by connecting it with national development programs and government budget.
