Did you know that while there are Christians in Saudi Arabia but it is the only country in the world where they are not allowed to worship in a church? Given the prevalence of Christianity and the sheer number of its adherents, have you ever pondered whether there could be a country without a single church? There are more than 190 countries on earth. Could there possibly be a nation without a single church? Indeed there is! The country in question is “Saudi Arabia.”
The only Country in the world without a single church Saudi Arabia is the largest country in Western Asia and the second largest in the Arab world, after Algeria, with an area of approximately 2,150,000 square kilometres per square kilometre. As the nation is Islamic, its citizens believe in the Prophet Muhammad, as Christians believe in Jesus Christ. Of Nazareth, Mecca is their place of worship, and Muslims from all over the world travel there to worship once a year during Hajj. The date of Hajj is determined by the lunar-based Islamic calendar (also known as the Haji calendar or AH).
The annual Hajj takes place over a period of ten days, beginning on 1 Dhu al-Hijjah and concluding on 10 Dhu al-Hijjah, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic calendar. Mecca is the holiest place in the country because it is the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and the origin of the Islamic religion.
In the interests of clarity, There are Christians in the country, including more than one million Roman Catholics, indicating that they do not discriminate. This indicates that Christians are welcome, but only for work-related purposes and not for religious reasons. This means that Christians living in the country are only permitted to worship their God at home. When the British disapproved of the London Mega-Mosque, British Muslims were enraged. It is believed that the mega mosque will dwarf many of Britain’s Christian cathedrals.
Councilman Craig, who resides in a city with 300 mosques and 500 madrassahs, suggests that Britain should not permit any more mosques until Saudi Arabia permits the construction of churches. Why should the Saudis pay for a mosque in the United Kingdom when there is not a single church, temple, goodwara, or synagogue in Saudi Arabia?.
