It was a colourful event on 3rd of March, 2024 at Cavetaria Hall in Atiba University, Idi Gedu, Oyo where the first edition of Ọ̀YỌ́ CHANTERS SEMINAR 1.0 took place.
The seminar is not for the chanters in Oyo State alone but for the Chanters across Nigeria and beyond.
This programme (Ọ̀YỌ́ CHANTERS SEMINAR) was the first of its kind in Oyo State which bring all Chanters or lover of Yoruba chanting art and culture on a round table to deliberate, learn, unlearn and re-learn just to be more professional in the field.
Ogbeni Alatise Abdul Rahman ÀJÀNÍ professionally know as ÀJÀNÍ AKÉWÌ is the convener of the programme. It was a program where all attendees are allowed to participate without paying any due(Attendance is free).

The guest speakers Ogbeni ÀYÁNWÁLÉ GHAABIO, ÀARẸ KEHINDE OSUOLALE AFÈDÈYANGÀN (Aare Ẹgbẹ́ Akéwì Asooto Oodua) and OJEDIWURA ÀPÈKẸ́ did justice to the topic “A new reformation in the field of chanting” and all the attendees enjoyed the moment unregretted.
The Convener, Ogbeni Alatise Abdul Rahman ÀJÀNÍ specially appreciate His Royal Majesty, Oba Prof Adekunle Okunoye (The Eburu of Iba) the Pro Vice Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council for Atiba University and Professor Sunday Olawale Okeniyi, the Vice Chancellor of Atiba University for their support towards the success of the program.
