Ajax winger, Antony is set to become Manchester United’s first signing of the summer as a £40 deal for the Brazilian could be announced soon.
The Sun reports that Manchester United chiefs are currently in Holland to complete the signing of the 22-year-old.
The Brazilian winger quickly established himself as a key part of Ajax under former manager, Erik ten Hag, after joining from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2020.
The Brazilian scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 33 games as Ajax won the Eredivisie title. Now the player is set to reunite with Erik Ten Hag, who has made him one of his top targets for Manchester United this summer.
The Sun reports that the Red Devils have stepped up their efforts to secure a deal for the winger.
Members of United’s hierarchy have travelled to Amsterdam on Tuesday in an attempt to complete a £40m move for Antony.
