Engr. Dotun Sanusi Donates N5m to Victims of Fire Disaster at Eleyele, Moniya Markets
Engineer (Dr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi has yet again demonstrated awesome empathy ,a virtue he is known for as he doled out a whooping sum of Five million naira to marketers unfortunately involved in fire incidences.
The first affected Eleyele Market where goods worth millions of Naira were lost in the inferno,which occured at midnight and ravaged shops and their goods.
The donation of five million Naira(N5,000,000:00) was announced through Iyaloja General ,Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje,who paid a sympathy visit to Moniya market area ,which was engulfed in inferno just two days ago .
To be accessed in the announced ratio of Three million to the victims at one market and the remaining two million at the affected 2nd market.
While addressing the crowd of Marketers and their sympathizers, Iyaloja Saratu Aduke charged the market leaders and their executives to be open and honest in distribution of the funds to the victims.
Iyaloja expressed her sadness over the unfortunate loss,but admonish the marketers to have their faith in God ,that fortunes will smile their ways and their losses will be recovered.
Iyaloja availed the moment to appreciate Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s deep love for Oyo market traders over period of time.She described JDS as a public spirited philanthropist,whose commitment to uplifting the masses ,out of poverty, has remained his passion as severally proven.
The NEMA officials were also on ground to render official assistance at the venue.
The marketers in their multitudes showered rain of prayers ,while expressing their appreciation to Dr.Jubril Dotun Sanusi,who has remained unalloyed and committed to putting smiles on faces of people generally.
The affected market traders at the two different locations of Eleyele and Moniya were relieved of the grief of losses,as the handsome donation from ILAJI Hotels and Resorts’ CEO lifted the spirits of the victims.
