The Chairman and Sole Administrator of PaceSetter Transport Services (PTS), Hon. Dr. Ibraheem Oladeji Salami Dikko, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslims in Oyo State and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Kabir celebration.
In a statement made available to news men on Friday, PTS Boss, Dr. Dikko described Eid al-Kabir as a significant period that reminds the faithful of the timeless virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“Eid al-Adha is not just a celebration, but a spiritual reminder of what it means to have total faith in Allah.
It is a season that urges us to uphold compassion, humility, and love for one another, especially in times of difficulty,” he said.Dr. Dikko encouraged Muslims to use the season as a time for self-reflection, spiritual renewal, and generous acts of charity, especially to the less privileged in society.
While felicitating the Muslim Ummah, he also called for continued peace, unity, and tolerance among all religious and ethnic groups, emphasizing that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity and shared values.
The PTS chairman also reaffirmed his commitment to delivering an efficient and people-focused transport system in Oyo State.
“At PTS, we are committed to driving excellence and ensuring that public transportation remains accessible, modern, and safe for all residents, regardless of faith or background,” he added.
Dr. Dikko concluded by praying for Allah’s blessings on all and urged everyone to celebrate modestly while keeping safety and public order in mind.
