In response, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale clarified that the agency’s actions were aimed at arresting Ekoh, who is accused of involvement in a Ponzi scheme that defrauded 103 Nigerians. He stated that only Ekoh was taken into custody and that no communication equipment was removed during the raid.
Oyewale explained that the agency tracked Ekoh to the station after she failed to respond to multiple invitations to appear for questioning.
