Foremost Humanitarian Organisation — Egalitarian Team as on Friday, expressed their concern over the prevailing harsh economy, declaring that the suffering in the country is becoming unbearable to ordinary Nigerians. The inflation in all commodities price is annoying.
According to the statement released by the group convener, Egalitarian Akinlabi Segun.
The organisation noted that the suffering in the country is becoming unbearable to ordinary Nigerians and things are getting worse everyday.
Beside, the organisation noted that of grave concern was the increasing security challenge as well.
The humanitarian support group urged both federal and state governments to intervene in the prevailing economic hardship which had forced Nigerians into protests.

It will be recalled that on Monday through Tuesday, angry youths and women took to the streets of Osun State, Minna, the Niger State capital and Kano to protest what they described as the rising cost of living in the country.
Similar protests also erupted in Ondo State in the Southwestern part of the country.
“Many families are struggling to make ends meet, with stagnant wages and rising prices pushing them further into poverty,” he added.
The organisation tasked President Tinubu to immediately take concrete actions aimed at alleviating the living crisis.

“There is an urgent need for swift and decisive action to mitigate the impact of the cost of living crisis and restore hope and dignity to millions of struggling Nigerians,” Mr Segun Akinlabi said.
