Easter: Embrace Christ’s Message of Love, Sacrifice and Peace, NYC Oyo Urges Youths
The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, has called on youths across the state to embrace the core message of Easter by promoting love, sacrifice, peace, and selflessness in their daily lives and civic responsibilities.

In an Easter goodwill message jointly signed by the Executive Chairman, Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi OLAGBENRO, General Secretary, Adekola ANIMASAUN, and Public Relations Officer, Comr. Segun AKINLABI, the youth body congratulated Christian faithful in the Pace Setter State on the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as a symbol of victory, hope, and redemption for humanity.
The Congress noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ remain powerful lessons in humility, unity, and service to humanity, urging young people to place collective interest above personal gain in order to build a peaceful and progressive Oyo State.

NYC Oyo also appealed to political actors and key stakeholders to prioritize the welfare of the people, particularly the youths, through impactful human development programmes and initiatives capable of driving sustainable progress across the state.
The organisation further prayed for God’s blessings upon Oyo State, while wishing residents a joyful Easter celebration filled with reflection, renewal, peace, and unity.
