‘Don’t Have Kids If You’re Broke’ — Woman’s Viral Take Sets Internet Ablaze”

A Nigerian woman has sparked intense online debate after sharing a video in which she asserted that those who cannot afford basic comfort should not have children.

In the clip, she argued that anyone still commuting on public buses with a baby on their back shouldn’t be having kids. She added that couples still living with their parents are not ready for parenthood. She also noted that if parents struggle to pay their child’s school fees on time, they shouldn’t consider having more children.

The woman emphasized that if a child has to hawk or accompany parents to the shop or market right after school in uniform to help out, then bringing that child into the world was a mistake. She further stated that couples who can barely afford three meals a day should not be having children at all.

She clarified that her point isn’t about education level but simply about common sense.
