Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, marking his historic second term. The ceremony took place indoors at the U.S. Capitol due to extremely cold weather, with around 600 guests in attendance, including foreign dignitaries, tech entrepreneurs, and former U.S. Presidents, Egalitarian Voice reports.
With one hand raised and the other resting on a Bible gifted by his mother, Trump, now the 47th president of the United States, solemnly took the oath of office beneath the towering Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol.

Earlier, Republican Trump and outgoing Democratic President Joe Biden traveled together by motorcade to the Capitol, where the ceremony took place indoors for the first time in decades, with a significantly smaller audience due to the frigid weather.
At his first inauguration in 2017, Trump was a political outsider.
Now, at 78, he is surrounded by America’s elite. The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai all had prime seats in the Capitol alongside Trump’s family and cabinet members.
