On the occasion of June 12 which is the day set aside to celebrate Democracy Day in Nigeria, the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has greeted Nigerians on the occasion of the Democracy day being celebrated across Nigeria today.
The Party also specially greeted and commended the people of Oyo State for their continued support for the Omi tuntun government being piloted by the modern architect of the new Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The PDP recalled that since the inception of its government since 2019, its government has always championed people oriented programs which have become models for other States in Nigeria, even for the APC led Federal Government of Nigeria.

The party further charged Nigerians to continue to pray to God to grant our leaders the spirit of discernment, which the party said is greatly needed to come out of this untold hardships the country currently finds itself.
The Party also commended Governor Makinde for delivering on his electoral promises which have made the PDP the darling of everyone in Oyo State and Nigeria in general. The Party also said the Governor’s touch has cut across all zones and sectors of Oyo State which has given each zone a sense of belongings.
In a statement released by the acting publicity secretary of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Mr Michael Ogunsina in Ibadan earlier today, the PDP assured the people of Oyo State that its government in Oyo State will continue to prioritize their well-being and security at all times, the statement concluded.
