Continuity At Grassroots: Rahman/Ganiy 2.0 is full of sustainable development || OCAT
Friday May 24 marked a significant milestone in the history of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, as Hon. Rahman Adepoju and Hon Ganiy Omotosho were officially sworn in to return as Executive Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Local Government.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the House of Chief, Secretariat, Ibadan was attended by a large gathering of enthusiastic supporters, community leaders, and dignitaries, all eager to witness the continuity of a fresh chapter under his leadership.
After then, the chairman, vice chairman and their families were received by the management and staffs of the local government which shows the good leadership of the personalities in the previous 3years term.
In the speech of the Executive Chairman, he said and I quote “This second administration, we promised to do more than we have done and make dividends of democracy circulated across everyone.”
With this statement, this is the assurance of sustainable development in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and promise of hope for the younger ones.
Rahman Adepoju being an incarnate of Governor Seyi Makinde who is a lover for the masses while Ganiy Omotosho is a young person who gives hope for the young persons.
Between 2021 to 2024, the Rahman/Ganiy 1.0 has touched the all wards in the local government across all sectors and in the 2024 – 2027 which is Rahman/Ganiy 2.0 will do more to the communities and development will reach out to many.
Once again, congratulations Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju and Alhaji AbdulGaniy Abiodun Omotosho, may your tenures be marked by significant achievements, unwavering dedication, and the realization of the dreams and aspirations of the people you serve.
May the Almighty grant you wisdom, knowledge and understanding on this journey.
