In a formal statement issued on Friday, Dr. Oladimeji noted that the seamless and consultative process which led to his adoption reflects the maturity and visionary leadership that Governor Makinde has consistently brought to bear on the party’s affairs in Oyo State.

“I wish to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to our amiable Governor, His Excellency Seyi Makinde, and the esteemed elders and executives of our great party, the PDP,” Dr. Oladimeji stated. “The transparent and inclusive manner in which this consensus was achieved is a testament to the governor’s unwavering commitment to fairness, unity, and the collective strength of our party.
