Celebrating a Life of Impact: Dr. OTOPE Condoles with Ilaka Family
The Director-General, Liaison Office, Abuja and Lagos, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPÉ), has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Oloye Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka, former Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, on the loss of his mother, Chief (Mrs.) Felicia Aderemi Ilaka. Dr. OTOPE had the privilege of knowing Mama Ilaka as a pillar of strength and wisdom in the community.
Chief (Mrs.) Felicia Aderemi Ilaka, the Iyalode of Oyo, passed away on Tuesday, 27th August 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selfless service. Her remarkable life touched countless hearts and inspired many to emulate her virtues. As a devoted matriarch, she nurtured her family with unwavering dedication and care.
Dr. OTOPE praised Mama Ilaka’s life, saying, “Her passing is a tremendous loss, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. She was a shining example of wisdom, compassion, and strength.” He recalled her tireless efforts to support education and empowerment initiatives in Oyo State, which had a lasting impact on the community.
Dr. OTOPE prayed that Almighty God grants the Iyalode of Oyo eternal rest. May her family find solace in the knowledge that she lived an extraordinary life that made a lasting impact. May her soul rest in peace.
