BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu, Akpabio, Atiku, Philip Shaibu, Others Assigned New Roles Ahead of Ondo Governorship election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the Chairman of the Ondo State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council. This announcement was made on Thursday night by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organising Secretary of the ruling party.
Egalitarian Voice reports that the Campaign Council consists of 306 members. Argungu stated that the inauguration of the National Campaign Council is scheduled for October 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. The event will be held at the International Event Centre (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State.

Other prominent members of the Campaign Council include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget Atiku Bagudu, Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, and Senator Simon Bako Lalong, among others.
