Breaking: Oyo State Govt Declares Public Holiday

The Oyo State Government has declared Wednesday, August 20, 2025, as a public holiday to commemorate Isese Day.

In a circular issued on Monday, 18th August 2025, by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike K. Adeyemo, Governor Seyi Makinde approved the work-free day in recognition of the annual celebration.

The statement further urged residents of the state to use the occasion to pray for the peace, unity, and stability of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
