The National Population Commission has fixed a new date for the LGA Level Training of NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors.
According to the NPC, the new Training Date for Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Training is from 15th March, 2023 to 21st March, 2023, (7days), across the 774 LGAs of the Federation.
This is contained in the Revised 2023 Census Work Plan recently released by the Commission.
Outlining new scheduled of activities in the Revised 2023 Census Work Plan, the NPC stated that Refereshers (Virtual Training) for State Level Facilitators and Specialised WorkForce would commence on 6th March, 2023 and ends on 12th March, 2023.
The NPC furthered that in preparation for the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors LGA Level Training, the LGA Level Trainers would have to travel down to various LGA Level Training Centers between 13th and 14th March, 2023.
The Commision noted that as a pre-activity before the LGA Level Training and Person Enumeration, assessment of Training Centers for the 2023 Post-Enumeration Survey (PES) would be conducted between 13th March, 2023 to 20th March, 2023.
The LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors will feature a Training on Building Numbering and Household Listing which will be conducted between 15th March, 2023 and 21st March, 2023, while Profiling of Enumerators and Supervisors for the Main Census would be conduct within the same period.
Also, LGA Level Training on Person’s Enumeration will be conducted from 26th – 30th April, 2023 while Census Night is on 2nd May, 2023.

The revised 2023 Census Work Plan, in addition, revealed the intention of the National Population Commission to reschedule the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise.
