BASA Felicitates Olubadan on 90th Birthday, Commends Monarch’s Legacy of Leadership and Service
The Social Development Advocate and 2027 Oyo State Governorship Aspirant, Honorable Bolanle Aminat Sarumi A.A., popularly known as BASA, has extended warm congratulations to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ige Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary today, July 5, 2025.
In a personal statement issued by Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-A.A and made available to the press through her media team, BASA lauded the monarch’s lifelong dedication to the progress of Ibadanland and the preservation of Yoruba traditional institutions.
“Today, we celebrate not only the life of a highly revered royal father, but also a remarkable legacy of service, wisdom, and community development that Baba represents,” the statement read. BASA expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the Olubadan the grace of long life, describing his 90th birthday as a testament to a life lived in truth, discipline, equity, and tireless service to his people.
