As sighted by Egalitarian Voice on his official X (Twitter) handle, former presidential candidate Peter Obi has urged members of the Obidient Movement and COPDEM to back the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the August 16, 2025 bye-elections.

Obi explained that due to Labour Party’s lack of INEC-recognised candidates amid its internal crisis, ADC should be the coalition’s choice at the polls.
