Asisat Oshoala Quits Super Falcons
Nigerian football legend and six-time African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, has announced her retirement from the national team, the Super Falcons.
Egalitarian Voice reports that her announcement is coming ahead of Tuesday’s semi-final clash between Nigeria and South Africa at the ongoing 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Casablanca, Morocco.
Oshoala, who played for Barcelona Femeni, announced her decision to quit the Super Falcons on Facebook on Monday night.
