As Muslims in Nigeria join their counterparts worldwide to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the President of OTOPE Foundation, Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has once again put smiles on the faces of residents across Egbeda and Ona-Ara Local Government Areas with a massive distribution of food items.

The distribution, which kicked off across the wards of the two Local Government Areas, saw thousands of residents receive essential food supplies to celebrate the Sallah holiday. Items distributed included bags of rice and other staples to support families during the festive period.
This gesture is in line with the consistent attitude of Dr. OTOPE and the OTOPE Foundation, ensuring that residents of Egbeda and Ona-Ara have a reason to smile during every festive period, for both Christians and Muslims alike. The Foundation has built a reputation for inclusive humanitarian service, ensuring that no ward or community is left behind regardless of political affiliation or religious belief.
Presenting the items to community leaders for distribution, Dr. OTOPE reiterated his commitment to the welfare of the people. He noted that while his Foundation continues to drive empowerment and developmental projects across the area, putting food on the table during festive moments remains a personal obligation he holds dearly.
“It has become a tradition that I hold sacred. Seeing the people of Egbeda and Ona-Ara happy gives me the energy to do even more through the Foundation. I urge you all to continue to live in peace and harmony, and to pray for the continued progress of our communities,” he stated.
Dr. OTOPE also used the occasion to congratulate the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, praying that the blessings of the season translate into progress and prosperity for all residents of the area.
The beneficiaries, who spoke through various community and religious leaders, expressed gratitude to Dr. OTOPE and the Foundation for their consistency, praying for God’s continued guidance and favour upon him and his family.
This distribution is the latest in a series of empowerment programs and humanitarian projects facilitated by the OTOPE Foundation across the constituency.
