This fully-funded scholarship is for individual interested in studying, conducting research, or pursuing professional development in Canada for short durations.

These scholarships are administered at the University of Alberta and encompass programs such as the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP), Canada-ASEAN Scholarships, Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED), and the Study in Canada Scholarships.
SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
$15,900 CAD – 8 months – Undergraduate – SEED, Study in Canada Scholarships
$12,700 CAD – 5-6 months – Graduate – SEED, Study in Canada Scholarships
$11,100 CAD – 5-6 months – Graduate – ELAP (Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program)
$10,200 CAD – 4 months – Both Undergraduate and Graduate – SEED, Study in Canada Scholarships.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the Government of Canada International Scholarships at the University of Alberta, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
– Undergraduate applicants seeking research-based opportunities should provide an institutional collaboration agreement or a Letter of Invitation from a University of Alberta professor willing to supervise them.
– Graduate applicants may benefit from an inter-institutional agreement but it’s not mandatory.

– Students must be enrolled full-time in their intended degree program during the application.
– Proficiency in the language of instruction (English or French) at the Canadian institution is required before arrival since language training is not covered by the scholarship.
