APC Wields Big Stick, Suspends Senator Daniel, Folarin Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities
The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the indefinite suspension of Senator Gbenga Daniel and Hon. Kunle Folarin over alleged anti-party activities.
The decision, ratified by the State Working Committee (SWC) led by Chief Yemi Sanusi, followed disciplinary proceedings initiated by Ward 4 and Ward 6 executives in Sagamu Local Government.
According to reports, both Daniel and Folarin failed to honour invitations to appear before the disciplinary panels or submit written defenses. The committees further alleged that the duo attempted to intimidate certain members in an effort to frustrate the process.
After reviewing evidence and testimonies presented, the committees recommended their suspension, which the SWC later endorsed to uphold the party’s constitution and maintain discipline.
Confirming the development, the APC State Director of Publicity, Mr. Nuberu Olufemi, said the party remained committed to fairness, accountability, and adherence to its internal regulations.
