ANALYSIS: 735 Million People Now Facing Hunger in the World ~WHO Says
The recent report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) has indicated that over 122 million more people are now facing hunger in the world.
According to the publication that was released by the organisation on July 12, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the Covid-19 pandemic, repeated weather shocks and conflicts from other parts of the world are the main reasons for the rise.
With the latest report, around 735 million people are now currently facing hunger all over the world. The organisation arrived at the 735 million mark after the 2023 figure was added to the last conducted report of 2019 that showed 613 million people.
