The Oyo State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun, has successfully rescued Abdulahi Ajibike, who was kidnapped on Tuesday in the Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Egalitarian voice reports.
Sources revealed that Amotekun operatives launched a swift operation following the report of the abduction. Ajibike was eventually rescued around 4 p.m. on Thursday near Orita Perin.
The circumstances surrounding the kidnapping, including the identities and motives of the abductors, remain unclear as investigations are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, state authorities have commended Amotekun for its rapid response, reaffirming the corps’ unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property across Oyo State.
