PDP Chieftain in Ona Ara Local Government, Arc. (Hon) Akande Ifeoluwa politically addressed as ‘Ife Ona-Ara’ as called for peace among all the party stakeholders in the local government area regard the selection of next council chairman come 2024.
According to his appealing message made available to Egalitarian Voice, Hon Akande Ifeolwa politically addressed as IFE ONA-ARA re-affirmed his commitment to the development of Ona-Ara land against all the political tussle concerning the selection of who will fly the council Chairman ticket under People’s Democratic Party in 2024 Local Elections.
His message reads thus:
“I am deeply disappointed in the state of our politics today. We have become so divided and hateful, and we seem to have lost all sense of humanity.
We are quick to ridicule and belittle those who disagree with us, and we are more than willing to use hatred and division to achieve our own political goals. This is not how we should be behaving.
Politics should be about finding common ground and working together to build a better future for all of us. It should not be about winning at all costs, even if it means tearing ourselves apart.
We need to be more careful about the words we use and the actions we take. We need to remember that we are all human beings, and we deserve to be treated with respect.
Selfishness and personal interest are driving us all apart. We need to put the needs of our land first and stop letting our own egos get in the way.
We can do better than this. We need to find a way to come together and heal our divisions. We need to remember that we are all in this together.”
Peace!
