The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) Oyo State Chapter is gearing up to host its highly anticipated Youth Leadership Lecture Series and Heroes Award 2025, scheduled to take place on December 30, 2025. This landmark event aims to celebrate excellence, promote youth leadership, and bring together prominent leaders and young achievers.
According to reports, the NYC Oyo State Chapter held a crucial meeting on November 18, 2025, to finalize arrangements for the event. The meeting, chaired by Comr. Abdulfatai A. OLAGBENRO (Legacy), Oyo State Chairman, was attended by key officials, including Barrister Khalid Badrudeen Esq, State Legal Adviser; Comr. Animasaun Adekola, State Secretary; and Comr. Kazeem Bojuwole, Vice Chairman, Oyo Central Senatorial District.
Immediately after the meeting, the leadership of the Congress paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Mudashir Dayo Ogunsola, a prominent leader and mentor, to brief him on the upcoming event and seek his guidance. During the visit, it was announced that Alhaji Ogunsola will be decorated as a Patron of the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Youth Congress on the program day, in recognition of his contributions to youth development and leadership in the state.
The event will feature prominent speakers, award presentations, and cultural performances. To ensure its success, the committee established several sub-committees, including:
