Hon. Olumide Sunday (Alayaki Ona-Ara) has congratulated the PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Amb. Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, on officially submitting his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to the NCOC Secretariat in Abuja for the position of National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In his goodwill message, Alayaki described Ambassador Arapaja as a seasoned administrator, bridge-builder, and tested leader whose contributions to the PDP’s growth remain invaluable.
He expressed confidence that Arapaja’s next phase of leadership would further consolidate the unity and credibility of the party ahead of the PDP National Convention scheduled for November 15–16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

“Ambassador Arapaja’s decision to contest for the position of National Secretary reaffirms his unwavering commitment to service and the progress of our great party. His leadership spirit continues to inspire the grassroots,” Alayaki stated.
While reaffirming his support for Arapaja’s aspiration, Alayaki also noted that the Arapaja 2027 Governorship Ambition remains valid, describing it as a long-term vision for Oyo State’s sustainable progress under the inspiring slogan ‘KONGE IRÉ’, symbolising unity, prosperity, and continuity.
