…Reaffirms Support for Governor Seyi Makinde
The Immediate Past Special Assistant on Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency Matters, Hon. Adegboyega Akinlolu James, popularly known as AKIN OOSA, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, hosted a colourful Yuletide celebration at his residence in the Okiki-Ade Oremeji, Agugu area of Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State.
The event, which attracted political leaders, party executives, grassroots supporters, and well-wishers from across Ona-Ara, Egbeda, and neighbouring local governments, was described as a carnival of love, unity, and thanksgiving. Egalitarian Voice reports that the annual festive gathering has become a tradition for Hon. AKIN OOSA, aimed at strengthening bonds with the people and celebrating the season of goodwill.
Speaking at the event, AKIN OOSA gave glory to God for the gift of life and expressed deep appreciation to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his leadership and direction in governing the state.
“All adoration be unto God Almighty for the gift of life. I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his wisdom and steadfast leadership in piloting the affairs of Oyo State in the right direction. I also thank everyone present here today for celebrating with me, as we have continued to do every year. By God’s grace, we shall witness many more in sound health,” he prayed.
Prominent personalities in attendance included the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olatunji; Ona-Ara PDP Chairman, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo; Baba Busari and Hon. Bisi Busari from Egbeda Local Government; Dr. Tope Afolabi, a House of Assembly hopeful for Ona-Ara State Constituency; representatives of Hon. Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE); representatives of Hon. Seye Gbaroye, as well as other political leaders, stakeholders, and party faithful from Egbeda Local Government.

The gathering once again reinforced Hon. AKIN OOSA’s reputation as a grassroots-oriented leader who values inclusiveness, community engagement, and consistent connection with the people, while reaffirming his unwavering support for the leadership and vision of Governor Seyi Makinde.
