The Atikulated Global Movement (AGM), a socio-political group comprising former PDP aspirants and some candidates warmly, celebrate the winners of the just concluded local government elections in Osun State.
We congratulate the newly elected local government chairmen and councillors for emerging as winners in the just concluded local government elections. This is significant as it indicates they are chosen by the people . This exercise has further reaffirmed the importance of an election in a democracy and the role of the people in every democracy.
The AGM also appreciates the support and commitment of the good people of Osun State and the candidates from various political parties. Indeed, you have demonstrated capacity in alignment with the constitution of Nigeria and the promotion of peace through the electoral process.
We particularly acknowledge the leadership of His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke, whose commitment to democratic principles ensured the successful and peaceful conduct of the local government elections. Despite facing significant challenges, the governor’s determination and impartiality played a pivotal role in making this election a success.
As we congratulate the newly elected officials of the Osun state local government councils, we encourage them, regardless of political affiliation, to emulate Governor Ademola Adeleke’s exemplary leadership and collaborate with other stakeholders in supporting his initiatives for the continued development of Osun State.
The AGM commends the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), security agencies, and all participants for their role in ensuring a peaceful election.
Once again, we congratulate the newly elected local government chairmen and councilors and wish them success as they embark on their duties.
