THE Former Governership Candidate in Oyo State who is also the SouthWest Director for Trade and Investment (Local & International) under The National Association For Nigerian Traders (NANTS) and again The Chairperson of ATIKULATED GLOBAL MOVEMENT (A.G.M), Hon (Mrs) Bolanle Sarumi politically known as BASA has commiserated with the traders in Agbeni Market over the loss of properties and means of livelihood in the recent fire outbreak which occurred on Sunday May 14th, 2023 in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
Hon BASA expresses her great shock on receiving the sad and unpleasant news, adding that, it is a great dilemma to the traders of the market but we should be thankful to the Almighty God that no life was lost to the inferno.
Continuing, BASA says, “It is so disheartening to hear and see people’s properties and means of livelihood being turned into ashes in his/her presence but God can’t be blamed.
“Agbeni Market is a popular market in Ibadan where alot of buying and selling takes place daily, it’s so painful for me to hear the breaking of the news but we should just accept it as God’s will as no amount of wailing or tearing, can redeem the lost items.”
BASA therefore urges all to remain calm and positive minded as I believe that help will arise for all the victims soon.
