The Aderoju Ayoade Foundation, under the leadership of its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye (AAA), extended its humanitarian and educational support outreach to two secondary schools in Ibadan on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Students of Oluyoro Girls Grammar School and Okebadan Boys High School, both in Ibadan North East Local Government Area, benefitted from the foundation’s book donation initiative aimed at encouraging academic excellence and promoting positive behaviour among young learners.
Speaking during the presentation, Dr. Adekanmbi-Akinseye expressed heartfelt joy at the opportunity to interact with the students, stressing that education and good behaviour remain powerful determinants of a successful future.
Addressing the students, she said: “Each of you sitting here has great potential. The choices you make today — how you behave, how you study, and how you treat others — will determine the kind of person you become tomorrow. Good behaviour is not just about obeying rules; it is about respect — respect for your teachers and your parents.”
She emphasized that education remains the greatest tool for transformation, empowerment, and long-term success.
“Education opens doors, builds confidence, and gives you the power to change your life and your community for the better. No matter where you come from, your education can take you anywhere. Stay committed, avoid distractions, and embrace every opportunity to learn,” she advised.
As part of the visit, the foundation donated exercise books to support the academic efforts of the students. Dr. Adekanmbi-Akinseye noted that the books symbolize encouragement and belief in the students’ potential.
“May these books remind you that people believe in your potential and are rooting for your success. Fill them with knowledge, ideas, and dreams that will shape your future.”
She concluded with a motivational charge, urging the students to embrace discipline, choose good behaviour, and remain focused on their education.
The school management of both institutions expressed appreciation to the foundation for the thoughtful gesture and for investing in the future of the students.
