In continuation of his unwavering commitment to grassroots empowerment, the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Aare Alao Olalekan, has once again extended financial support to youths, widows, and elderly persons in Ward 6, Ona-Ara Local Government Area.
The financial support initiative, which cut across critical segments of the ward, was aimed at easing economic challenges and strengthening livelihoods at the grassroots. The gesture was widely applauded by party leaders, community stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
Speaking during the programme, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 6, Mr. Adisa Atoba, expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for creating an enabling environment that allows capable and progressive young leaders to actively participate in governance. He noted that the presence of individuals like Aare Alao Olalekan in government has reinforced the confidence of party members and the grassroots in the present administration, adding that without such committed representatives, faith in the system could be weakened.
Also speaking, Alfa Sulaimon Arikeusola, former Youth Leader of the ward, appreciated the financial support on behalf of the youths, describing it as timely and impactful in addressing pressing economic needs.
Similarly, Baba Alajagbe, former Ward Chairman, commended the initiative, describing the financial support as a clear demonstration of responsive leadership and a genuine commitment to giving back to the people.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Comrade Gbenga Osunware Atoba stated that the financial support was neither the first nor the second, but one of several interventions consistently delivered by Aare Alao Olalekan to the ward. He praised the Special Assistant for his sustained generosity and urged other political office holders to emulate his people-oriented approach in supporting Governor Seyi Makinde’s mass-oriented governance agenda.
