The National Chairperson of ATIKULATED GLOBAL MOVEMENT, a political interest group that comprises all the Former Aspirant and some Candidates under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) standing on the mandate of H.E Atiku Abubakar, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi A. Politically addressed as BASA on behalf of all the members has hailed the Supreme Court of Nigeria and congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke over the validation of his victory by the nation’s Apex Court in Abuja.
In a statement personally signed by BASA made available to the newsmen on Tuesday evening, noted that the affirmation by the Supreme Court was a validation of the mandate given to Senator Adeleke by the people of Osun State, saying that the judgement should be seen as phenomenal and a crucial blow to manipulation of elections in Nigeria.
Applauding the judiciary as truly the defender of Nigeria’s democracy she opined that validation of victory of Governor Adeleke in the Governorship election, showed that indeed the judiciary is the last refuge of the common man, adding that the judgment has rekindled the hope and confidence that those whose mandate had been tampered with or denied can look forward to fair justice.

“But my special request from the judiciary is to do a thorough hearing in the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, in all honesty I believe that if the judiciary stands on the truth and nothing but the truth, as they did in the Osun Election Petition, the of People’s Democratic Partys Candidate, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar GCON will triumph in the suit he filed against INEC and the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Am sure His Excellency Atiku Abubakar will be declared the authentic elected President of Nigeria in the February 25th election”., BASA appeals.
