The Senatorial candidate, Oyo Central District, of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Chief Oyebisi Ilaka, House of Representatives for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Busari Sikiru Olayemi and House Assembly Candidate, Egbeda Constituency, Hon. Sunkanmi Olawale Babalola have kicked off the party’s ward-to-ward campaign in Egbeda Local Government Area of the state lead by the Egbeda Local Government Chairman, who’s also the Oyo State ALGON Chairman, Hon Sikiru Sanda Oyedele.
The candidates, who began the campaign at Ward 8, Asejire Water to Osengere also in ward 8, campaigned to Egbeda Market at ward 9 and solicited votes for all candidates of the PDP.
Speaking during the campaign visit to the two wards, Hon. Sanda said Oyo State had witnesses a lot of development under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, PDP administration.
He noted that Governor Seyi Makinde is a promise keeper and he will continue to keep his promises and develop Oyo state into modern Oyo State.
According to him, “I trust the people of Egbeda Local Government, they will reciprocate that good gesture by voting for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as President and Vice President respectively; Reelected Governor Seyi Makinde and his Deputy Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal respectively; Chief Bisi Ilaka for Senate, Rt. Hon. Olayemi for House of Representatives and Hon. Sunkanmi for Egbeda State House of Assembly and other PDP candidates in the state.
“Let reelect Governor Seyi Makinde to enable him continue his good works in the area’s of Agriculture, Education, Security, expand the infrastructural and human capital development programmes of the Makinde Administration.
He noted that there was no sane person in Nigeria that wanted to vote APC again as Nigerians are suffering under the APC led administration.,” he added.
The House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Sunkanmi unveiled his agenda if reelected saying he will continue to develop and brings benefits to the people of Egbeda Local Government.
The PDP House of Representatives Candidate, Rt. Hon. Olayemi, commended the Egbeda Local Government people for the massive turnout and urge them to vote for all PDP candidates in 2023.
Earlier, The campaign train visit the Baale (Chief) Akinsola Okomolu, Baale of Osengere, where the Baale welcomes the team joyful, laud Governor Seyi Makinde for his development in the state pray for his reelection and other pdp candidates in the state.
