••• Lauds Prince Adebowale Falana, Chairman, Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, for Youth Unity and Welfare as Planning Committee Set for Unveiling
The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, under the Chairmanship of Comrade Adeyemi Abdulfatai Olagbenro (LEGACY), on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, held a robust meeting with Ibadan Zonal Coordinators at the Oyo State Youth Development Agency Conference Hall, Secretariat, Ibadan.
The meeting brought together NYC Coordinators in the Ibadan Zone to brainstorm on preparations for the second edition of the Youth Leadership Summit. Discussions centred on effective mobilisation, programme planning, stakeholder engagement, and strategies to deliver a more impactful and inclusive summit for young people across Oyo State.
Addressing the gathering, the NYC Oyo State Chairman, Comrade Adeyemi Abdulfatai Olagbenro (LEGACY), expressed profound appreciation to all Local Government Coordinators for their cooperation and grassroots commitment. He acknowledged their dedication as vital to the chapter’s stability and effectiveness across the Pacesetter State.
He further extended his unreserved appreciation to Prince Adebowale Falana, Chairman, Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, for his outstanding role in uniting the youth of Oyo State and prioritising their welfare. He noted that Prince Falana’s leadership has strengthened collaboration between youth structures and government, while advancing youth-focused development across the state.
The meeting concluded with a renewed resolve to deliver a well-organised, inclusive, and impactful 2026 Youth Leadership Summit. The planning committee for this year’s edition will be made available to the public in due course.
