Ajia Community Leaders Applaud OTOPE’s ₦500,000 Donation for Electrification Project
Leaders of communities in Ajia, Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State, have expressed profound appreciation to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, following his donation of ₦500,000 to support the electrification project in the area.
The financial intervention, which was presented to the Ajia communities, is expected to contribute significantly to ongoing efforts aimed at improving electricity supply and enhancing the living conditions of residents across the benefiting communities.
Hon. OTOPE’s gesture has been described by community leaders as a demonstration of his commitment to grassroots development and his willingness to support initiatives that have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the people.
Speaking on behalf of the benefiting communities, the General Chairman, Mr. Osuntoki Abiodun, and the Secretary, Mr. Adepeja, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to OTOPE for the generous donation. They commended him for identifying with the needs of the people and supporting a project considered crucial to the development of the area.
The community leaders also pledged their support for OTOPE’s candidacy ahead of the 2027 general election, expressing confidence in his vision, leadership capacity and commitment to quality representation. They assured him of their continued support as preparations for the forthcoming election gather momentum.
Communities expected to benefit from the electrification project include Alaafia Estate, Unity Estate, Unique Estate, God Link Estate, Victory Garden, Oriapata Estate, Irewole Apata Estate and Irewole Apata Isale Estate, among others.
Residents and leaders of the communities noted that the intervention would further strengthen development efforts in Ajia and improve access to electricity across the affected areas, while also reinforcing the relationship between Hon. OTOPE and the grassroots.
