History does not change by chance. It changes when courageous people choose to do what has never been done before.

For twenty-eight years, since the return of democracy in 1999, the people of Oyo South have sent men to the Senate. They served in their season, and their labour is recorded. But history is not a cycle of repetition; it is a call to renewal. Today, Oyo South stands at a defining door, and the question before us is simple: Will we keep repeating the familiar, or will we write a new chapter?
Behind every victory in Oyo South—behind the campaigns, the mobilisation, the rallies from Ibadan to Ibarapa—there have been thousands of hardworking women. They have voted in the rain and sun. They have canvassed streets, organised communities, prayed through the night, raised children, built businesses, and held families together. Yet none of these women has ever been entrusted with the Senate seat. That is not just a gap. It is a chapter waiting to be written.

The 2027 election is bigger than politics. It is a message to every little girl in Ibadan North who dreams of leadership; every market woman in Eruwa who believes her voice should count; every young person in Ido who wonders whether this democracy truly belongs to them. Electing the first female Senator for Oyo South would tell Nigeria that our district does not only talk about progress—we do it.
BASA is more than a candidacy. BASA is a movement for hope, inclusion, accountability, and purposeful representation. This is not a call for sympathy. It is not tokenism. It is a call to support a leader with the capacity, compassion, and courage to serve every community with fairness and dedication.

When future generations ask who changed the political story of Oyo South, let history record that we refused to be spectators. Let it be said that in 2027, the people of Oyo South chose progress over prejudice, vision over convenience, and excellence over limitation. Let it be said that we did not merely wait for change—we became the change.

The moment is here. The choice is ours. The future is calling.
Support BASA for Senate 2027.
No One Will Be Left Behind.
