Royal Felicitation: PDP Reps Candidate, Hon. Idris Afolabi (ALOMA) Celebrates Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, on Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oyo Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat, Hon. Idris Afolabi (ALOMA), has extended warm congratulations to the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, on the occasion of his birthday and wedding anniversary.
In a congratulatory message made available to Egalitarian Voice, Hon. Afolabi described the revered monarch as a symbol of unity, wisdom, and cultural excellence whose leadership continues to promote peace, progress, and the rich heritage of the Oyo Kingdom.
He noted that the coincidence of the monarch’s birthday and wedding anniversary on July 17 makes the day even more remarkable, as it celebrates not only the life of a distinguished traditional ruler but also the enduring bond between His Imperial Majesty and Ayaba Abiwunmi Owoade.
Hon. Afolabi prayed for God’s continued protection, sound health, wisdom, and a long, peaceful reign for the Alaafin, while wishing the royal couple many more years of love, happiness, and marital bliss. He expressed confidence that the Oyo Kingdom would continue to witness greater development and prosperity under the monarch’s reign.
