Loyalists and political associates of Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja have reaffirmed their unflinching loyalty and unwavering support for his leadership, declaring that they remain firmly committed to his political direction as preparations gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a joint statement issued on behalf of the group on Friday July 3, 2026, the loyalists emphasized that their commitment to the party and its leadership structure remains firmly anchored on Ambassador Arapaja, whom they described as a symbol of stability, experience, and progressive politics.
According to the statement, despite recent political realignments and widespread speculations in some quarters, their position remains unequivocal and unchanged. They affirmed their resolve to stand solidly behind Arapaja, expressing confidence in his leadership and political judgment in the overall interest of the party and its members.

“We wish to state categorically that Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja remains our political leader. We are with him, we believe in his leadership, and we shall continue to move with him in the overall interest of our party and the aspirations of our people. Our loyalty is founded on conviction, trust, and genuine love—not intimidation or coercion,” the statement read.
The loyalists reiterated their commitment to maintaining unity within the party and pledged to continue working closely with Ambassador Arapaja and other stakeholders to strengthen the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
