The Association of Oyo State Tutorial Owners (AOSTO), under the leadership of its State Chairman, Mr. Oladipupo Olalekan Shakirudeen, popularly known as INTELLECTUALS, has directed all members of the association, as well as eligible students across tutorial centres in the state, to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The resolution was reached during the association’s State General Congress held on June 12, 2026, where members unanimously agreed on the need for active participation in the democratic process.
According to the association, while AOSTO remains a non-partisan pressure group committed to advancing the interests of tutorial owners and students, meaningful participation in governance can only be achieved through active engagement in the electoral process.
