BASA Calls for Nationwide Prayers for Abducted Oyo Students, Teachers

A prominent social development advocate and political leader, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA), has appealed to Nigerians to dedicate their Sunday prayers to the safe return of the abducted students and teachers in Oyo State.
In a statement released on Sunday, BASA expressed deep concern over the plight of the victims and the anguish being experienced by their families, urging citizens across the country to unite in prayer during this difficult period.

She prayed for God’s protection over the abducted students and teachers, while asking for strength and comfort for their loved ones as they await their safe return.
BASA also called on both the Oyo State Government and the Federal Government to intensify efforts toward securing the immediate release of the victims, stressing that every available resource should be deployed to bring them home safely.
“May God bring them home safely and comfort their families. I urge both the Oyo State and Federal Governments to leave no stone unturned in securing their release,” she stated.
The Senatorial candidate of Oyo South further emphasized that the nation must not relent in its prayers and support for the affected families until the abducted persons regain their freedom.
“Until they return home, let us keep praying,” BASA appealed.
Her call adds to the growing concern among stakeholders and well-meaning Nigerians over the security situation and the need for urgent action to safeguard lives and educational institutions across the country.
