Today January 14th, 2026 we join family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers across Oyo State and all over the world to celebrate a distinguished technocrat, respected community leader, and dedicated public servant — Dr. Akin Fagbemi, the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board (OYHMB) and Mogaji of Agunleyinju Compound, Alekuso, Ibadan, as he marks another remarkable year of life.
Dr. Fagbemi’s tenure as Chairman of OYHMB has been defined by purpose, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across the state. Under his leadership, the board has continued to align with the broader vision of building a resilient, people-centred healthcare system that prioritises efficiency, accountability, and improved service delivery for all residents of Oyo State.
Beyond public service, Dr. Fagbemi remains a pillar of traditional leadership, carrying the responsibilities of his lineage with honour and wisdom.
