In a heart-warming display of compassion and social responsibility, the Aderoju Ayoade Foundation, under the visionary leadership of its Founder, Hon (Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye (AAA), has extended life-changing support to over 100 widows and single women raising kids by themselves across Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East Federal Constituencies in Oyo State ahead of the Christmas celebration.

The yuletide outreach, aimed at easing economic hardship and spreading festive cheer, saw beneficiaries receive essential food items alongside cash donations, providing immediate relief and restoring hope to vulnerable families during the season of goodwill.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon (Dr.) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to uplifting the less privileged, particularly women who bear the burden of providing for their families under challenging circumstances. She noted that Christmas should be a time of joy for everyone, regardless of social or economic status.

“This initiative is our way of standing with widows and single mothers, reminding them that they are not forgotten. Beyond today, our Foundation remains committed to empowering lives and supporting humanity,” she said.

Beneficiaries, many of whom were visibly moved, expressed deep gratitude to the Foundation, describing the gesture as timely, thoughtful, and impactful, especially amid rising living costs. Some noted that the support would help them celebrate Christmas with dignity and meet basic household needs.
