The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has revealed that the Department of State Services (DSS) and the military contacted the kidnappers responsible for the abduction of victims in Eruku, Kwara State, and directed them to release the hostages without harm.

Onanuga made the disclosure during an interview on Arise TV, as sighted by EGALITARIAN VOICE, stating that the security agencies issued a firm instruction to the abductors.
“The DSS and the military contacted the kidnappers and told them to release the abducted Eruku victims unharmed, and they did,” he said.
