The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has been declared the winner of the Anambra State governorship election.

Soludo, who is the incumbent governor, defeated 15 other candidates after securing overwhelming votes across the state’s 21 local government areas.
Egalitarian Voice reports that Soludo recorded strong performances across all LGAs, maintaining a wide margin ahead of his closest rival, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu.
Final Results:
1. APGA: 422,664 votes.
2. APC: 99,445 Votes
3. YPP: 33,652 votes
4. LP: 10,482 votes
5. ADC: 8,317 votes
6. PDP: 1,774 votes
