The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released fresh updates on the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
According to the Commission’s Week 6 pre-registration statistics (covering September 22–28, 2025), a total of 6,232,673 applications have been recorded so far. Out of this figure, 3,250,338 (52.15%) are females, while 2,982,335 (47.85%) are males.
INEC further revealed that youths aged 18–34 account for 4,230,715 of the registrants, while 1,565,824 are students and 137,865 are persons with disabilities.

For completed registrations, both online and physical, INEC’s Week 5 report (September 22–26, 2025) shows a total of 1,004,132 successfully registered voters. Of this, 537,743 were done online while 466,389 were completed at physical registration centers.

Breaking down the demographics, 555,077 (55.28%) are female, 449,055 (44.72%) are male, while 742,379 are youths aged 18–34. The report also shows 354,406 students and 13,987 persons with disabilities among the registrants.
